The Outdoor Challenge
Vineyard and estate venues in the Salem hills are almost always outdoor or semi-outdoor events. That means specific equipment requirements:
- Audio: Open hillside terrain scatters sound differently than enclosed rooms. We use directional speakers positioned to cover the audience without carrying too far — important for venues with noise ordinances.
- Wind: The Eola-Amity Hills catch wind off the Van Duzer Corridor regularly. All our microphones use wind protection. Ceremony audio works even when a breeze comes through.
- Power: Remote vineyard locations sometimes have limited power access. We carry generator backup for events where power isn’t guaranteed.
