Apogee Event Productions LLC was started by Zach Thomas in Salem, Oregon as a DJ service. We quickly grew into one of Oregon's most well known names for DJs and photo booths. Meet our team of DJs, photo booth techs, photographers, wedding planners, and see who will be making your big day happen!
Our home base is in Salem, Oregon but our team is located around the state and travels to you!
The mosaic of the image above is a photo we took of a couple in 2019. We used photo booth pictures to create the final mosaic images. We feel this image represents us, as every event is a blend of friends, family, laughter, and of course love which is why we celebrate!

My name is Zach Thomas and learn why events are in my DNA! 2006 - I started Apogee as a DJ company.
2012 I build us our first photo booth, and hired another DJ named Jack.
2016 - We opened our first office in Salem, OR offering DJs, photo booths, photography, wedding films, and coordination.
Nov 2019 - Began plans on a larger warehouse.

March 2020 - We had a drastic change of plans and in our down time accidentally build Salem's largest event space.
2022 - We moved back into mobile events only and are here to make your event fun and easy!
2024 - I discovered my Welch ancestors began Eistefodd 850 years ago in 1176, a tradition which still continues to this day in Wales. I have picked up the old family tradition in America!

Jack was the second DJ Apogee ever had and first joined us in 2012.
Jack moved away for a period of time before returning to Salem, Oregon and began working once again as a DJ.
Jack now manages the photo booths as well as DJs and his excellent customer service skills and ability to listen to client's needs make him a valuable resource!

Allen first started with Apogee in 2014 and quickly became one of our most recognizable faces!
DJing hundreds of weddings, Allen is a top choice for many couples who are looking for a wedding DJ.
If has been said that if most of us get a 9 volt battery at birth, Allen received a 12 volt! You will love how much fun he is at your party and how easy he is to work with as a true professional DJ!

DJ Glen, former room mate to Zach Thomas when the company was founded in 2006 sells houses by day and parties with you at night!
Glen joined our DJ team in 2023. His easy, likeable, and fun personality makes him a great DJ who is well schooled in all genres of music.
