Privacy Policy
Introduction
Effective date: July 11, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Apogee Event Productions LLC collects, how we use it, when we disclose it, and the choices available to you. It applies to our website, booking and planning systems, event services, photo booths, galleries, email, and text messaging.
Information We Collect
Contact and Booking Information: We may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing or billing address, event date, event location, selected services, planning details, contract information, and messages you send us.
Event Photos and Videos: We create and receive photos, videos, audio, and other event media while providing photography, film, photo booth, and event-production services. We may also receive names, schedules, vendor details, and other information needed to carry out an event.
Photo Booth Information: When you use one of our photo booths, we may collect the photo or video you create, the phone number or email address you enter to receive it, the event associated with it, delivery information, and any marketing choice you make. Entering a phone number or email address to receive a photo does not, by itself, enroll you in recurring marketing. If we ask to send marketing messages, we will present that choice separately.
Sponsored Event Collection: At some events, the event host may ask us to collect guest information for the host. When that happens, the booth screen or nearby notice should identify the host and explain what information will be provided to it. We disclose guest contact information to an event host only as stated at the point of collection or as directed by the guest.
Payment Information: Payments are handled by payment processors such as Stripe or PayPal. Apogee may receive transaction records, payment status, and limited billing information, but we do not store full payment-card numbers.
Website and Device Information: When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, cookie or advertising identifiers, and information about how the site is used.
Marketing Preferences: We keep records of email and text subscriptions, consent, opt-outs, and related dates so we can honor your choices.
How We Use Your Information
We may use information to provide booked services; deliver requested photos, videos, galleries, and event materials; prepare quotes, contracts, invoices, schedules, and event plans; communicate about bookings, event changes, support, and requested services; improve our website, services, equipment, and client experience; prevent fraud; protect our systems; enforce agreements; and comply with law.
We may use contact information to send marketing email or text messages when you have made the required choice or when otherwise permitted by law. If we use advertising or social-media platforms to create or measure advertising audiences, we may use contact, device, or website information for that purpose where applicable law permits it.
We may use event media in our portfolio, website, advertising, or social media when a contract, release, event notice, or other permission allows that use. This Privacy Policy is not a photo or video release.
How We Disclose Information
Service Providers: We use companies that help us manage bookings, photo booths, galleries, text messages, email, payments, website hosting, analytics, advertising, and event operations. These may include CheckCherry, Curator Live, Twilio, Stripe, and PayPal. They process information under their agreements with us and, where applicable, their own privacy terms.
Event Clients and Hosts: At some events, a client may hire us to collect information from guests. If guest contact information or analytics will be provided to that client, that fact should be disclosed at the booth before collection.
Apogee Team Members and Subcontractors: We disclose information needed by DJs, attendants, photographers, videographers, coordinators, dealers, and other team members to carry out an event.
Advertising, Analytics, and Social-Media Companies: If used, these companies may receive website, device, or contact information to measure campaigns or create advertising audiences. Contact information may be converted into a coded or hashed form before being uploaded, but it remains personal information for privacy purposes.
Public Audiences: Event photos or videos posted to our website, galleries, portfolio, or social-media accounts may be visible to others. We make that use only when permitted by the applicable agreement, release, notice, or consent.
Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers: We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect a person's safety, investigate fraud, protect our rights, or complete a merger, sale, financing, reorganization, or transfer of some or all of our business.
We do not describe routine disclosures to payment processors and other service providers as sales of personal information. A disclosure of guest data to an event host or advertising platform may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some state laws. Where those laws apply, we provide the required opt-out rights.
Your Rights and Choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may stop text messages by replying STOP or by clearly telling us you want the messages to end. You may also ask us to stop using your contact information for marketing.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you; ask about the types of third parties to which we disclosed personal information; or opt out of a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising covered by law.
Send privacy requests to team@weareapogee.com with Privacy Request in the subject line. We may need to verify that the request concerns you. We may retain information when needed to complete a requested service, keep required business records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with law.
If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a denied privacy request, reply to our decision with Privacy Appeal in the subject line and explain why you believe the decision should be reviewed. We will not deny service or charge a different price merely because you exercised a privacy right, except where allowed by law.
Do Not Track and Universal Opt-Out Signals: Our website does not currently respond to legacy browser Do Not Track signals. If applicable law requires us to recognize Global Privacy Control or another approved universal opt-out signal, we will process that signal as required.
Data Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide event services and galleries, maintain business and tax records, honor marketing choices, resolve disputes, protect our systems, and meet legal obligations.
Retention time varies by type of information and service. Opting out of marketing stops future marketing but does not automatically delete records needed to document the opt-out or complete another lawful purpose.
Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical steps designed to protect personal information. We also use third-party systems to manage bookings, payments, communications, and event media. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, and we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Children's Information
Our website and marketing programs are not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not enter a phone number or email address for marketing.
At school, family, or youth events, Apogee may provide photo booth and media services. We do not knowingly use information belonging to a child under 13 for remarketing without the permission required by law. A parent or guardian may contact team@weareapogee.com to ask about or request deletion of a child's information.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, vendors, or legal duties change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change materially expands how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or consent required by law.
