How much does a wedding DJ cost in Salem, Oregon?
With Apogee, $1,650 for five hours, ceremony sound, MC, dance lighting, and custom uplighting included. Typical experienced Oregon wedding DJs run $1,500–2,000.
How much is a photo booth?
From $545, with seven styles. Every booth includes instant text delivery, a custom overlay, and an online gallery. Most styles include an attendant; the Digital Companion Booth is self-serve and digital-only.
Can I get a DJ and photo booth from the same company?
Yes, that's our most-booked package. Wedding DJ + any booth is $2,445 flat, the booth runs your entire 6-hour reception, and you save $550 vs booking separately.
How far ahead should we book?
Peak Saturdays (June–September) commonly book 12–18 months out. Off-season, Friday, and Sunday dates have more room.
Are your prices really public?
Yes. Every starting price is on this site and in our booking system, and your exact quote with real-time availability is online. No quote games.
Is there a travel fee?
Not in Salem or Keizer, that's home. Elsewhere in Oregon, travel is calculated in your quote up front.
Weddings
Is the DJ also our MC?
Yes. Introductions, toasts, timeline cues, and announcements are part of the job. You'll never hand a stranger the mic.
Do you cover the ceremony too?
Yes, lapel and handheld wireless mics, processional music, and speakers sized so the back row hears every word. It's included in your DJ hours.
What's The Apogee Experience?

Corporate, schools & parties
How does a casino party work, is it gambling?
No real gambling. Guests play blackjack, poker, craps, and roulette with fun money and pro dealers, then trade chips for raffle tickets or prizes. We plan the music, announcements, and timeline around the games so the night feels like a party, not just tables in a room.
Do you do school dances and grad nights?
Yes, proms, homecoming, and all-night grad parties with school-safe music, plus photo booths, arcade games, and game shows. We've run events at Corban University, Willamette University, and schools across the valley.
What's a Game Show Party?
A live 90-minute Team Feud with a host, plus DJ and photo booth, for $4,995. Built for corporate parties and grad nights.
Do you do quinceañeras?
Yes, bilingual MC and DJ, photo booths, photography, and film. It's one of our favorite event types.
Logistics
What happens if equipment fails?
We bring backup gear to every event and keep emergency DJ coverage ready. You are hiring a company with a bench, not one person with one laptop.
Have you worked at our venue?
If it hosts events in the Willamette Valley, almost certainly. The Reed, Cellar 54, Zenith Vineyard, Green Villa Barn, West Hills, the Salem Convention Center, and dozens more. We're also the exclusive photo booth partner at The Reed and Cellar 54.
Where are you located?
Studio at 285 Liberty St NE inside Cellar 54 in downtown Salem, with our HQ and warehouse in Aumsville. We run events across all of Oregon.
How does planning work after we book?
Everything is planned online ahead of time, music, do-not-plays, timeline, announcements, and reviewed together before the day. The day is dialed before we load in.
