Rian Simpson
DJ · Portland · since 2018
Rian Simpson, also known as DJ Raintree, was born and raised in Portland. He started with piano and guitar before learning drums and bass, then studied music theory and audio engineering. Rian has played in bands, recorded in studios, and performed up and down the West Coast, from Veterans Memorial Coliseum to backyard weddings. He brings a calm presence to key moments, a strong technical ear, and the range to build music around the people in the room instead of falling back on a stock playlist.

Wes Fisher joined Apogee in 2016 and helped build our photography and film work. Today he focuses on weddings, and much of the photography across this site is his.

Samantha Thomas has helped Apogee in several roles since 2020. She coordinates weddings and also knows the photo booth side of the business. She stays calm when a timeline shifts, keeps the vendor details moving, and helps couples feel looked after without making the day feel managed.

Kelli joined Apogee in 2025 with hands-on event decorating experience. She works hard to make sure guests have a good time, and you may also know her from For The Love of Pete Rental next to our Aumsville office.
