Green Villa Barn
Green Villa Barn is a genuine barn on Independence Highway, family-owned by the VanderHaves, hosting weddings for over 25 years, and seating up to 300. It sits 15 minutes southwest of our Salem studio, and we've DJ'd, photographed, and run photo booths under its beams. Here is what we know about making an event work in this room.

Sound in a real barn
Wood surfaces and high ceilings create natural reverb, so speaker placement matters more here than in a drywall ballroom. We aim coverage at the dance floor and keep the dinner tables out of it, so guests can talk through dinner and still get a loud floor when it opens.
Where the booth goes
The barn's natural wood is one of the best photo booth backdrops we work with. A ring light against that rough wood gives photos a depth modern venues can't fake, and the Companion and Princess booths photograph especially well here.
Ceremony outside, party inside
The weddings we've shot here ran the ceremony outdoors, under a wood arch, then moved into the barn for dinner and dancing. We set ceremony sound outside and the reception rig inside ahead of time, so nothing gets torn down while your guests wait.
The light is worth planning around
The barn gets real natural light during the day, and string lights under the wood beams carry the reception. Our favorite shots here happen after dark, the glow stick tunnel send-off in the gallery below is real.
Know the room
Green Villa seats up to 300, and that number matters for sound. A system sized for 100 guests dies in a room built for 300, so tell us your headcount and we bring the right rig, not a default one.
Fifteen minutes from our studio
Green Villa Barn sits at 3215 Independence Hwy, about 15 minutes southwest of our downtown Salem studio. No travel fee, and load-in is a short drive, not a road trip.
Ceremony sound, MC, dance lighting, and custom uplighting in your colors, planned online before we ever load in. Extra hours $200.
