The Oregon Garden
The Oregon Garden in Silverton is built for the full arc of a wedding day: ceremony under the timber pavilion, portraits on the tree-lined paths at last light, dancing after dark. The wedding photos on this page are ours, shot at the Oregon Garden. Here is how to make the entertainment side of the day work there.

Notes for an Oregon Garden wedding
The timber pavilion ceremony
We photographed a ceremony under the Garden's timber pavilion, guests seated along a flower-lined aisle. The roof covers your ceremony whether the day brings rain or full sun, and the open sides keep the garden in every frame.
Outdoor ceremony sound
Open-air ceremonies have no walls to bounce sound, so unmiced vows disappear a few rows back. We put wireless lapel mics on the officiant, run a handheld for readings, and place speakers clear of the aisle. Ceremony sound is included in the $1,650 wedding DJ package, not an add-on.
Golden hour on the paths
Our shot of a couple walking a tree-lined path in late-day sun is one of our favorites from this venue. Ask your coordinator to hold 20 to 30 minutes near sunset for portraits, the garden does the rest of the work.
Photo booth placement
A booth earns its keep near the dance floor, not out on the grounds. We set it on level ground with power close by so it stays busy after dark. Every style includes instant text delivery and an online gallery. Most styles include an attendant; the Companion is self-serve.
Build walking time into the timeline
Garden venues spread out. Ceremony, portraits, and reception can each sit in a different spot, and guests move slower than you think. We plan the timeline online with you ahead of the day, then your DJ MCs it in real time so nothing stalls.
Ceremony sound, reception sound, MC, dance lighting, custom uplighting, and online planning. Extra hours $200.
Book the DJEverything in Wedding DJ, plus any of our seven booth styles running the full six hours. Saves $550 vs booking separately.

“If there were 10 stars I'd give them 10 stars, if you're looking for a DJ to not only make your wedding memorable but make the planning EASY then please hire Apogee. Jack was our DJ and he was incredible.”
“Having worked on many events with Apogee Events, I can say that their performance is top of the line. The staff is professional, easy to work with, and present great ideas for room design, music selection, and Emcee services. Their photo booths are easy to use and produce excellent quality photos, videos, and memories.”
“Highly recommend working with Apogee. We are very busy and had little time or energy, but wanted the wedding of our dreams. They made it happen with little help from us. They offer all the services you may need.”
