The Space
The Space is an event venue in downtown Salem, the same part of town as our studio in the Forge Building. We've set up DJ, sound, and uplighting in the room, and there's travel is calculated by service and the exact charge appears in your quote. Here's what works in the space, what it costs, and how to book it.
DJ setup notes for The Space
We've run this room
The DJ photo on this page is from a real event at The Space, our black booth, speakers, and purple uplighting with guests seated at tables in the same room. That's our standard indoor footprint: booth, speakers on stands, and uplights around the room, none of it in your guests' way.
Uplighting does the decorating
The purple glow in that photo is our uplighting. It's included with the Wedding DJ package and we match it to your colors. In an indoor room it does more for the look than almost anything else you can rent.
Downtown, no travel fee
Our studio is at 285 Liberty St NE in the Forge Building, also in downtown Salem. There's travel is calculated by service and the exact charge appears in your quote, and being this close makes an early load-in or a walkthrough before your date easy to set up.
Sound sized to the room
We size the system to the room and the guest count, so dinner stays at dinner volume and the dance floor gets the power. Wireless mics for toasts and announcements come with the DJ.
Booth placement
A photo booth needs a standard outlet and foot traffic, so we place it where guests pass all night, never in a dead corner. Tight on floor space? The all-digital Companion booth takes the least room, and the 360 booth needs a clear circle around its platform.
