Salem Wedding DJ

Salem is home, but we do not treat a hometown wedding like an easy one. Our studio is downtown at 285 Liberty St NE, and after 20 years we know rooms such as The Reed, Cellar 54, Zenith Vineyard, West Hills, and the Willamette Heritage Center. Your DJ stays easy to reach and gives you an online planner for the timeline, names, formal music, must-plays, do-not-plays, and a streaming playlist. We usually arrive at least two hours before our start time, bring all needed ceremony and reception equipment, and sound-check before guests arrive. Setup and teardown are included. When the wedding begins, your DJ handles the cues, makes clear announcements, and builds a dance floor that fits your people.

What happens next

A local room still gets a full plan

Knowing the loading door helps, but knowing your family, timeline, and music is what makes the night work.

  1. Use what we know about the venue

We plan ceremony placement, power, access, room sound, lighting, and the handoff with the venue team.

  2. Make the online plan personal

Add formal songs, names, speeches, must-plays, do-not-plays, guest requests, and a streaming playlist.

  3. Set before anyone needs us

We arrive early, test every system, then handle the ceremony, announcements, timeline, and dancing without making you manage the room.

Salem questions

How much does a wedding DJ cost in Salem, Oregon?
$1,650 for five hours with Apogee. That covers ceremony sound, MC work, dance lighting, custom uplighting, and online planning. Extra hours are $200, and Salem and Keizer events never pay a travel fee.
Is there a travel fee for Salem or Keizer weddings?
No. Our studio is at 285 Liberty St NE in downtown Salem, inside the Cellar 54 building, and our production warehouse is in Aumsville. Salem and Keizer are home turf.
Which Salem wedding venues has Apogee worked?
Zenith Vineyard, The Reed Ballroom, Cellar 54, The Grand Ballroom, Salem Convention Center, Willamette Heritage Center, West Hills Vineyard, The Space, and Green Villa Barn near Independence, among 2,000+ events since 2006.
Does the DJ also MC the wedding?
Yes. Introductions, toasts, timeline cues, and announcements are all part of the job. One person runs your whole day, and it's planned with you online before the wedding.
Can we add a photo booth to the DJ package?
Yes, and it's our most booked combo. Wedding DJ plus any of our seven booths is $2,445 flat, the booth runs the full six hours, and you save $550 vs booking them separately.
