West Hills Vineyards

West Hills Vineyards is a working vineyard estate in the Salem area, wine country from the ceremony rows to the dance floor. We work events here regularly, and our photo booth templates already carry a West Hills overlay. Here's how we handle sound, booths, and light on this property.

How we work West Hills

Ceremony sound in the vines

Open-air vineyard ceremonies need directional speakers aimed at the seats, not the whole valley. Every outdoor ceremony gets wind-protected mics, so a gusty afternoon doesn't eat your vows.

Power on an estate property

Event spaces on a working vineyard estate aren't always next to an outlet. We bring power solutions for the remote corners of the property, including generator backup when power isn't guaranteed.

Booth placement, go roaming

Guests here spread out between the vines and the event spaces, so the Roaming booth earns its keep, the attendant carries it to the party instead of waiting for the party to find it. The all-digital Companion booth works too, and we already run a custom West Hills vineyard overlay that photographs well against the estate backdrop.

Chase the late light

Golden hour beside the vineyard rows is the shot. We build the timeline so you can step out to the vines when the light lands, without stalling dinner or the dance floor.

Plan earlier than a ballroom

Estate venues need more planning lead time than traditional venues, more moving parts, more distance between spaces. Our planning happens online ahead of time, so music, timeline, and announcements are dialed before we load in.

If there were 10 stars I'd give them 10 stars, if you're looking for a DJ to not only make your wedding memorable but make the planning EASY then please hire Apogee. Jack was our DJ and he was incredible.

Super flexible when things changed in the schedule. Did a great job with announcements so no one missed a thing.

Highly recommend working with Apogee. We are very busy and had little time or energy, but wanted the wedding of our dreams. They made it happen with little help from us. They offer all the services you may need.

West Hills Vineyards questions

How much does a wedding DJ cost at West Hills Vineyards?
$1,650 for six hours, ceremony through last dance, with mics, dance lighting, and custom uplighting included. West Hills is in the Salem area, so there's no travel fee.
Can you run sound for an outdoor vineyard ceremony?
Yes. Directional speakers aimed at your guests, wind-protected mics on every outdoor ceremony, and generator backup when power isn't guaranteed at the ceremony site.
Which photo booth works best at West Hills Vineyards?
The Roaming booth works well because its attendant moves with guests instead of holding one corner of the estate. The all-digital Companion also fits well and runs self-serve. Every booth includes instant text delivery, a custom overlay, and an online gallery. Booths start at $545.
How early should we book for an estate venue like West Hills?
Earlier than a ballroom. Estate properties need more planning lead time, more moving parts, more distance between spaces. Our planning is online and done ahead of time, so once you book, the day gets dialed in early.
Is it cheaper to book the DJ and photo booth together?
Yes. Wedding DJ plus any booth is $2,445 flat, and the booth runs the full six hours. Booked separately that's $2,995, so the package saves you $550.
