Albany and Corvallis weddings often spread across a family farm, barn, or vineyard, which means the ceremony, dinner, and dancing may not share the same power or sound needs. We sort that out before the wedding. After you book, your DJ stays in touch and gives you an online planner for the timeline, names, formal songs, must-plays, do-not-plays, and a streaming playlist link. On the day, we usually arrive at least two hours before we begin, set up the ceremony and reception systems, and test every microphone. All needed equipment, setup, and teardown are included. Barns and farms can put the ceremony, dinner, and dance floor in three different places. We plan those moves before anyone is waiting for a microphone.

  1. Map the property

    We confirm power, access, ceremony placement, reception layout, travel, and where each sound system needs to work.

  2. Build the music together

    Use the online planner for formal songs, names, timing, must-plays, do-not-plays, and a linked streaming playlist.

  3. Set early and lead the room

    We usually arrive at least two hours early, sound-check every space, then handle cues, announcements, and the dance floor.

Yes. Many of the mid-valley weddings we play are on family farms and rural estates. We sort the layout, sound, and timeline with you online before load-in, and ceremony sound is part of the package, so vows carry to the back row of a field too.
Is adding a photo booth worth it?
The bundle is $2,445 flat for the Wedding DJ plus any of our seven booth styles, and the booth runs all six hours. Booked separately, the same pair costs $2,995, so the bundle saves $550. Every booth includes instant text delivery, a custom overlay, and an online gallery. Most styles include an attendant; the Companion is self-serve.
Who will actually DJ our wedding?
An Apogee DJ from a 20-year team: Zach founded the company in 2006, Jack has led weddings since 2012, Allen since 2014, and Glen has been here since the founding era. You'll know your DJ's name well before the day, not when they walk in.
